The Iceland Confederation of Labour and Confederation of Icelandic Enterprise are holding a conference with seminars on human trafficking in Iceland, in Harpa on September 26th. There is no entrance fee, but it is important to register in advance. In the morning there are talks and panel discussions where interpretation is offered. In the afternoon there are seminars and some of them offer interpretation. The event is open to everyone. RÚV ORÐ is a new website, free to use, where people can use TV content to learn Icelandic. One of the goals of the website is to facilitate immigrants’ access to Icelandic society and thus contribute to greater and better inclusion. On this website, people can select RÚV’s TV content and connect it to ten languages, English, French, German, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Spanish, Thai and Ukrainian.
