Conference: Icelandic language studies for adult immigrants

A conference entitled Við vinnum með íslensku  (We work with Icelandic), aimed at professionals in the field, will take place on February 29th, 2024, at 09.00-15.00, at Hotel Hilton Nordica.

At the conference, experts will “examine challenges and exemplary solutions in the integration and language training of adult immigrants, the importance of doing well, and innovations and obstacles.”, according to the organizers.

The conference is organized by the The Icelandic Confederation of Labour (ASÍ) and Mímir-símenntun. Among the guests will be Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir.

Registration for the conference must be done before February 27.
