Research on intimate partner violence and employment-based violence amongst immigrant women

Do you want to help research about immigrant women‘s experiences in the workplace and in intimate partnerships?

A research on this matter is now being conducted by a team of researchers at the University of Iceland. Surveys have been put out and  they are open to all foreign women.

The purpose of the project is to better understand the experiences of immigrant women in the Icelandic labour market and in intimate relationships.

The surveys will take approximately 25 minutes to complete and the language options are Icelandic, English, Polish, Lithuanian, Thai, Tagalog, Arabic, Portuguese and Spanish. All answers are confidential.

These surveys are parts of a larger research project that initially grew out of the #MeToo movement in Iceland.

To find out more about the research, please visit the project´s main site. If you have further questions you can contact the researchers at iwev@hi.is. They are happy to speak with you further and answer any questions.
